Tron had an initial coin offering in August 2017. From there, they released their “Exodus” phase which supported simple file sharing. In January 2018 they moved to the current “Odyssey” phase where content creation was the core focus. Tron wants to incentivize content creators to use their platform. testnet was launched in March 2018, and the Main Net Launch is slated for June 2018.
