Nutanix smallest deployment for Remote Office and Branch Office (ROBO) environments is a 1 node cluster based on the NX-1175S-G5 hardware model that is a good fit for small scale remote office and branche office (ROBO) environments. The Starter Edition license is often best suited for this type of deployment.

Nutanix also provides a single-node configuration for off-cluster on-premises backup purposes by leveraging native snapshots.
