Summary
XenServer 7.1 Standard Edition includes Citrix support. XenServer 7.1 Standard Edition includes the following new features:
- First-ever Long Term Service Release (LTSR) of XenServer to align with XenApp and XenDesktop

Details
Citrix released XenServer version 7.1 (code-name “Ely”) in February 2017, this release added support for:
-streamlined approach to installing product updates
-long-term support release (LTSR) that underlines Citrix’s long-term commitment to our XenServer customers
-Ability to configure vCPU for Linux guests from within XenCenter without stopping the VM
-Greatly improved performance for VM Import / Export actions
Citrix entered the Hypervisor market with the acquisition of XenSource - the main supporter of the open source Xen project - in Oct 2007. The Xen project continues to exist, see https://www.xenproject.org/
